that's what took us from surpluse to deficit. when he talks about getting tough on china, keep in mind, gov. romney invested in companies that pioneered in outsourcing to china, and invests in companies that surveillance equipment to spy on their own folks. we have set up a task force for trade that goes after anyone taking advantage of american businesses. we've brought twice as many cases against unfair trade practices and won every one that has benen decided. i said we had to make sure china was not flooding the market with cheap tires, romney said i was being protectionist. but i saved 1000 jobs and those are the trade actions that are required. the other point -- there are some ways he is different. george bush didn't propose turning medicare into a voucher. he embraced imigration reform, but didn't call for self- deportation. he never suggested eliminating funding for planned parenthood. there are differences but it is not on economic policy. he's gone to a more extreme place with social policy. that is not how we move forw
